SOFT MOLASSES COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
6 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. molasses
1 c. cold coffee

Cream shortening well. Add sugar gradually. Mix flour, soda, salt, allspice, ginger and cinnamon together. Mix coffee and molasses, add to creamed mixture. Roll out to 1/4" and cut. Bake on greased sheet in hot oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
