SWEDISH APPLE PIE 
5-6 apples, peeled, cored & sliced
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. lemon juice

TOPPING:

1 egg
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. walnuts or cashews, chopped
1 c. flour

Butter a deep dish pie plate and fill with apples approximately 3/4 full. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and lemon juice. Mix topping ingredients until soft and pliable. Spread over top of apple filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 6-8.
