SKILLET COOKIES 
1 stick butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. white sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates
1/2 c. nuts
2 c. Rice Krispies
Shredded coconut to roll cookies in when done

On very low heat, melt butter in skillet (I use a pan). In mixing bowl, beat eggs. Add sugar and cut-up dates. Blend into melted butter and stir continually for 12 to 15 minutes. Heat must be a low simmer. Then add Rice Krispies and nuts. Push together in a mold from, then roll in coconut. Lay on waxed paper for a while to set and cool.
