FUDGE SCOTCH RING | |
1 (12 oz.) 2 c. semi sweet chocolate morsels or mint chips 1 can. sweetened condensed milk 1 c. coarsely chopped nuts 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 c. walnut or pecan halves Melt chocolate morsels over very hot, but not boiling water. Stir occasionally until melted. Mix in vanilla, condensed milk and chopped nuts. Remove from heat. Blend well. Chill mixture for 1 hour until it thickens and gets gloppy. Line a 9 inch pie pan with foil. Place 3/4 cup of nut halves in bottom to form a 2 inch ring around pan. Spoon mixture in small mounds on top of nuts to form wreath. Decorate with cherries, nuts, spearmint leaves and anything else. Chill in refrigerator until firm enough to slice. This can be frozen. |
