HUNTER STYLE CHICKEN 
4 slices bacon, cut into 1" pieces
1 med. onion, sliced
2-2 1/2 lb. broiler fryer pieces
Salt & pepper
1/3-1/2 c. Heinz 57 sauce
1 tbsp. sugar
Hot buttered rice
1 lb. can tomatoes, cut into bite-size pieces

Saute bacon in large skillet until partially cooked, then saute onion until tender. Remove bacon and onion; set aside.

Drain drippings from skillet, reserving 2 tablespoons. Brown chicken in reserved drippings; sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.

Combine cooked bacon, onion, tomatoes, 57 sauce and sugar; pour over chicken. Cover; simmer 40-45 minutes or until chicken is tender, basting occasionally. Thicken sauce with flour and water mixture, if desired. Serve with rice. 4-5 servings (about 2 1/2 cups sauce).
