CHOCOLATE TURTLE CAKE 
1 German chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 c. chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch pan. Prepare cake mix as directed. Pour half the batter in pan and bake 15 minutes. While cake is baking melt butter, evaporated milk and caramels in double boiler and set aside. Remove cake from oven and poke holes in top with wooden spoon handle and pour caramel mixture on top. Add 1 cup of chocolate chips sprinkled over caramel mixture and the remaining batter. Bake an additional 30 minutes.
