CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
1 well beaten eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 2/3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. Crisco
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 c. milk

Beat egg and sugar until light; add vanilla and shortening, melted with chocolate. Blend well. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk. Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Frost with Mocha Chocolate Frosting.

MOCHA CHOCOLATE FROSTING:

3 tbsp. coffee (hot)
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. cocoa

Mix together. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar. The frosting can be frozen if you have a lot leftover. If you double cookie recipe, then double frosting recipe.
