BUTTERMILK COFFEE CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
about 2 c. pecans
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs

Combine butter, brown sugar, white sugar, flour and cinnamon. Take out 1/2 cup of this mixture and mix with pecans for topping. Set aside. Then add to mixture the soda, buttermilk and eggs. Grease and flour large 9 x 13 pan. Put topping on before you bake at 350°F for 35 to 45 minutes.
