FRESH MARKET BEAN SOUP 
1 pkg. (about 1 lb.) mixed beans
1/2 lb. kielbasa, sliced
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. basil
Juice of 1 lemon
1 chopped carrot
1 med. can tomatoes
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Parmesan cheese

Soak beans overnight. Simmer for 1 hour in 3 quarts water. Add all ingredients, except cheese and kielbasa. Simmer another hour, then add kielbasa. Simmer 1 more hour, then serve piping hot with cheese.
