MOM'S LORNA DOONE DESSERT 
1 pkg. Lorna Doone cookies, crushed
6 tbsp. butter, melted
2 sm. pkg. instant French vanilla pudding
2 c. milk
1 qt. vanilla ice cream, softened
1 lg. container Cool Whip
3 Heath bars, crushed

Mix melted butter and crushed cookies. Spread in 9 x 13 inch pan. Press down to smooth out. Bake 15 minutes. Cool.

In a bowl, beat pudding, milk and ice cream until smooth. Spread on baked crust. After it sets (in refrigerator), spread Cool Whip on top. Cover with finely shaved Heath bars (to do this put them in freezer, then put in plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin). Sometimes you can buy them already crushed. Keep refrigerated.
