HOMEMADE VEGETABLE SOUP 
2-3 lb. beef stew meat
3-4 med. onions, chopped
5-6 med. carrots, sliced
4-5 celery stalks, sliced
5-6 sm. potatoes, chopped
1 pkg. frozen corn
1 pkg. frozen okra
1 pkg. frozen green beans
1 pkg. frozen peas
1 pkg. frozen butter beans
2 lg. cans stewed tomatoes
1 lg. can tomato sauce
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook the meat in boiling water for about 1 hour. Cut large pieces into small bits as it cooks. Clean, slice and chop other vegetables.

NOTE: In place of frozen vegetables, you can use fresh vegetables. You can use a mix of frozen vegetables and you can omit any you do not like. Add the vegetables, tomatoes, sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook at slow boil for 2-3 hours. It always takes 2 large pots to make this amount. Serve with cornbread. Freeze the remaining amounts and enjoy later.
