GRANDMA FULTON'S WHISKEY BALLS | |
2 c. ground vanilla wafers 2 c. ground nuts (I like pecans best) 4 level tbsp. light corn syrup 4 to 6 tbsp. whiskey (enough to hold the mixture together) Mix vanilla wafers, nuts, and cocoa together. Add corn syrup and whisky and stir together. Roll into small balls and then roll in powdered sugar. chill for about 12 hours. (I usually also chill the mix before I roll them into balls as this makes it a little less like playing with mud pies) |
