RICE CONSOMME | |
1 med. onion, chopped 2 cans beef consomme 1 c. rice 1/2 stick butter Saute onion in butter for 10 to 15 minutes in an uncovered casserole in a 375 degree oven. Add the rice and heated consomme and cook for one hour uncovered. To enhance the flavor you may add two bay leaves as it cooks. Two cans of onion soup may be substituted for the cut up onion and consomme. |
