HONEY GLAZED CARROTS | |
1 lb. sm. carrots Boiling salted water 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. honey 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. ground ginger 1 tsp. lemon juice Toasted sesame seeds Wash and peel carrots; slice diagonally. Cook covered in 1-inch of boiling salted water until almost tender. In medium skillet, melt butter with honey, salt, ginger, and lemon juice. When blended, add drained carrots and cook, stirring frequently, until carrots are glazed and tender. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired. |
