BEEF BRISKET 
5-6 lb. brisket
Garlic powder
1/2 c. Italian salad dressing
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 jar Heinz brown gravy
4 oz. can sliced mushrooms

In a broiler pan, lay foil up the side and have enough to cover the brisket. Put brisket on the foil and sprinkle with garlic. In a bowl mix remaining ingredients together and pour over the brisket. Cook at 300 degrees for 50 minutes per pound of beef. Cool and slice across the grain. Reheat at 350 degrees after the brisket is sliced. It is a good idea to cook this the day before serving and refrigerate.
