APPLE-YAM BAKE 
1 (16 oz.) can yams, cut in bite size pieces
1 can apple pie filling, chopped
1 tsp. cinnamon

TOPPING:

3/4 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. oatmeal
1/3 c. butter, soft

Mix together oatmeal, flour and sugar. Cut in butter until evenly mixed and crumbly.

Arrange a little less than half of pie filling in 6x10x2 baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Spoon 3 tablespoons of topping over pie filling. Evenly arrange yams. Add remaining pie filling to cover yams. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Add rest of topping; spread evenly.

Bake at 350 degrees until heated throughout, 30 to 40 minutes. Serve hot, plain or for a special touch top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
