CARAMELITAS 
14 oz. caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 c. flour
2 c. rolled oats
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. melted butter
6 oz. chocolate chips

Melt caramels and evaporated milk in double boiler. While mixture is melting, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and soda with melted butter. Press half of this crumb mixture into a 9"x13" pan and bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Sprinkle chocolate chips over baked portion. Pour caramel mixture over chocolate. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
