MY SPECIALTIES HOMEMADE SOUPS 
1/3 c. lentils
2/3 c. uncooked brown rice
1 potato, peeled & diced
1 stalk celery, diced
2 carrots, peeled & sliced thin
1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 onion, diced & peeled
1 lb. lean ground beef or poultry, uncooked, diced
1 can condensed beef noodle, chicken noodle or vegetable soup plus 1 can water
2 to 4 c. water
Salt to taste

Mix all together and cook until done. This is great soup for the crockpot.
