LAYERED TORTILLA PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (2 1/4 oz.) can chopped olives
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. shredded Colby cheese
1/4 tsp. pepper
6 corn tortillas

Brown beef, onion and garlic; drain. Add tomato sauce, olives, chili powder, salt and pepper. In round 2-quart casserole alternate layers of tortillas, meat sauce and cheese, ending with cheese.

Pour 1/2 cup water at edge of casserole into bottom. Cover and bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Uncover and let stand 5 minutes before cutting into wedges.
