PINWHEEL COOKIES | |
1 1/4 c. butter, softened 1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar 1 egg 3 c. flour 1/4 c. cocoa 1/2 tsp. salt Mix butter, sugar and egg. Stir flour and salt into mixture until smooth. Divide dough in half and add cocoa to one half. Wrap each half in plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour. On a floured surface roll each dough into a rectangle 16x9. Place the doughs together and roll tightly. Chill for about half an hour. Slice and bake cookies at 400 degree F. Bake cookies for about 8 minutes or until light golden brown. Makes about 2 dozen cookies. |
