1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. salad oil
2 eggs
4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix the sugars, butter and oil together well. Sift together the dry ingredients. Add flour mixture, eggs and vanilla and mix well. Shape into balls and roll in granulated sugar. Place onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten cookies with bottom of glass. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
