FRESH PEAR CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. oil
1 c. chopped pecans
3 c. chopped pears
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Mix flour, oil, salt and cinnamon; stir well, then add rest of ingredients and stir. Bake in Pam sprayed tube pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees. You can use apples instead of pears for this cake.
