BREAD PUDDING | |
6 c. milk 16 oz. bread 2/3 c. sugar 1 heaping tsp. pumpkin pie spice 1 tbsp. imitation vanilla 2 eggs, beaten 4 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 oz. box raisins (For 8 serving size use 8 x 8 inch dish, 12 ounce bread, 4 1/3 cups milk, all other ingredients remain the same). Spray 7 x 11 inch Pyrex dish (10 servings) with Pam. Cut bread slices into small cubes. (Cut easy if frozen). Spread into dish. Sprinkle raisins over bread. Mix sugar and spice into saucepan. Cut up butter and add with milk. Stir. Place on medium heat stirring often. Just until butter is melted, add vanilla and eggs. Pour over bread and raisins. Press bread and raisins under and bake at 350 degrees for 65 minutes. Top with Lemon Sauce (optional). |
