SWEET AND SOUR RIBS 
1/2 c. vinegar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
Pinch of ginger
1/4 tsp. hot mustard
3/4 c. tomato ketchup or chili sauce

Spare ribs as many as you wish - cut and wash and simmer in water to cover with 1 teaspoon of vinegar. Drain when tender. Save liquid; dredge spare ribs in flour - well covered. Fry until brown on all sides. Add the liquid you saved and stir. Take out ribs while making sauce. After sauce is made, put in the ribs. If you want to, can put in pineapple tidbits also a bit of the juice. Simmer for about an hour. Serve with rice and soy sauce. Add a little water if not enough. Use your own judgment.
