HOMEMADE "BISQUICK" 
5 lbs. self-rising flour
1 tbsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. non-fat dry milk
4 c. Crisco shortening

In very large pan or bowl, sift flour, adding other dry ingredients in small amounts until all sifted together. Stir and mix again. Add 4 cups Crisco; mix with hands until mixture resembles small pebbles. Store in Ziploc bags or large flour container with lid. For biscuits, just add water.
