1 3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. boiling water

Combine butter and sugar. Add eggs. Add flour and buttermilk. Add other ingredients. After mixed, stir in 1 cup boiling water. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
