CHOW MEIN NOODLE SAUCE | |
2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. shoyu 4 c. chicken stock or 2 cans Swanson chicken broth 1 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. cornstarch with water from black mushrooms 1-2 tbsp. oyster sauce Vegetables: String beans, carrots, celery, dried mushrooms, round onions and green onions. Meat: Chicken, char siu, beef. Other: Eggs (optional). 1. Cook chicken (meat) in oil (don't re-use oil). 2. Stir fry vegetables. 3. Separate vegetables from sauce. 4. Bake noodles 300 degrees. Cover with foil. 5. Put vegetables on noodles; heat all until warm, about 10-15 minutes. 6. Pour sauce on everything when on table. |
