FRENCH GLACE STRAWBERRY PIE 
1 qt. strawberries, hulled
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

In a cooked pie shell spread the softened cream cheese. Top with half of the strawberries. In a food processor or blender blend the rest of the berries. If needed, add enough water to make 1 1/2 cups juice. Heat juice in saucepan until boiling, stirring often.

Add combined sugar and cornstarch. Stir constantly until mixture boils. Boil 1 minute. Cool. Pour over berries in pie shell. Chill at least 2 hours. Top with whipped cream.
