TOMATO SOUP CAKE | |
1/2 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 1 can tomato soup 1/3 c. milk 1 egg Cream above items together. 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tsp. cloves Blend and add to creamy mixture. Add 1 cup chopped walnuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Frost with cream cheese frosting. CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: 1 lg. pkg. cream cheese 1 tbsp. powdered sugar 1/4 c. melted butter Whip together and frost. Sprinkle top of cake with walnuts. T. J. Hill |
