SPAGHETTI WITH TOMATO SAUCE 
1 (8 oz.) spaghetti
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1-2 garlic, minced
1 (12 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 tsp. oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. sugar
Sprinkle grated Italian cheese

Cook spaghetti in 6 quarts of boiling water. Add salt and cook for 20 to 30 minutes, until tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Heat oil, add onion and garlic. Simmer until tender. Add tomatoes, mashed, tomato paste, seasoning and simmer for 20 minutes and then pour tomato sauce over spaghetti and sprinkle grated cheese and serve immediately.
