SPAGHETTI WITH TOMATO SAUCE 
1 clove garlic, cut into sm. pieces
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. pepper
1 lb. spaghetti
Romano cheese
3 quart saucepan

Cook garlic and onion in oil until brown. Stir in tomato sauce. Add salt, pepper and sugar. Cook on low heat. Simmer, stirring frequently until sauce is thickened, about 40 minutes. Cook spaghetti. Serve sauce over hot spaghetti and top with Romano cheese.
