CRESCENT COOKIES 
1 c. butter
5 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. water
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped pecans
powdered sugar

Cream butter and add sugar, vanilla and water. Sift flour and salt together and stir into mixture. Add pecans and mix thoroughly. Using portions about the size of a small walnut, roll into crescent shaped cookies. Put on ungreased or parchment lined cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 7 to 10 minutes or until golden around edges.

Roll in powdered sugar.
