CHOCOLATE CHIP MERINGUES 
3 egg whites
Pinch salt
1 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. mini chocolate chips
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Line baking sheets with foil.

Beat egg whites with salt until stiff. Gradually beat in sugar. Stir in chocolate chips, cocoa and vanilla. Drop by walnut-size spoonsful onto baking sheets. Bake for 30 minutes. Transfer foil sheets to racks and allow to cool.

Do not make these cookies in humid warm weather.
