HERB BREAD CRUMBS 
2 c. finely ground bread crumbs
2 tbsp. crushed dried parsley
2 tbsp. dried chives
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. crushed dried basil
1/2 tbsp. crushed dried cilantro (coriander)
1/2 tbsp. dried thyme
1 tbsp. dried minced onion
1/2 tsp. dried lemon peel

Air dry leftover bread heels or slices. Sour dough or homemade bread is best. After bread is thoroughly dry store in airtight container until ready to grind. Grind bread in processor or blender.

Mix bread crumbs and remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl with spoon or whisk. Store in airtight container. Recipe is easy to multiply for making gifts.
