9 lbs. peaches
3 qts. good cider vinegar
3 lbs. sugar
Whole cloves
Whole allspice

Peel the peaches and add sugar and vinegar in a porcelain-lined kettle. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes. Put 2 cloves in each peach and add a little whole allspice.
