LAZY PERIOGY CASSEROLE 
12 lasagne noodles
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 c. mashed potatoes
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. onion salt
1 egg, beaten
1 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped onion

Cook lasagne noodles. Line the bottom of a pan with noodles. In a bowl, mix cheese, potatoes, salt, egg, onion salt and pepper. Layer mixture and noodles alternately in pan, finishing with a layer of noodles. Melt butter and saute onion slowly until clear and soft. Pour over noodles. Cover with foil or lid. Bake for 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Let stand 15 minutes. Serve with sour cream.
