CHERRY CHEESECAKE TARTS 
1 pkg. frozen pastry shells
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1/4 c. confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 can cherry pie filling
Additional confectioners sugar

Bake pastry shells, follow package directions. Mix cream cheese, sugar and extract. With a fork remove the tops of the pastry puffs and set aside. Carefully remove the soft layers of pastry inside the shells and discard. Fill the shells with the cream cheese mixture. Reheat in oven for 5 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool. Just before serving, fill each shell with pie filling. Replace tops of shell and dust with confectioners sugar. Yield: 6 servings.
