PECAN TASSIES FROM GRANNY 
1 stick butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. flour

Blend above ingredients and chill. Shape into tiny muffin tins.

FILLING:

1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. melted butter

Mix filling ingredients together. Into pastry shell add 1 teaspoon pecans, then 1 teaspoon batter and then top with pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 17 minutes, reduce to 250 degrees and bake 15 minutes.
