CRUMB CUPCAKES 
CRUMBS:

2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. soft butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix these together and save 1/2 cup crumbs for top.

LIQUID:

1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Add this to dry ingredients. Stir until mixed. Do not beat, lumps will disappear. Fill cupcake papers 3/4 full. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon crumbs on top. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Also sprinkle cinnamon on top before baking. Makes 18 to 24 cupcakes.
