PUMPKIN NUT BREAD 
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raisins

Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs. Add pumpkin and vanilla; sift together flour, salt, soda, and spices. Add to pumpkin mixture; fold in nuts and raisins. Bake in 2 greased and floured bread pans, 2/3 full each, for 60-65 minutes at 350 degrees.
