NEVER FAIL BOILING WATER PIE
CRUST
 
1 sm. can Crisco
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. boiling water
5 1/2 c. flour

Soften Crisco, cut in small pieces. Pour boiling water over salt and Crisco. Stir until smooth. Add flour and baking powder all at once. Stir just enough to mix. Cool. Make into balls, enough for 1 crust and wrap in wax paper. I store mine in the freezer. Take each ball wrapped in wax paper and put all in a large freezer bag. Take out as needed.
