HAMBURGER AND BEAN CASSEROLE | |
2 lb. lean hamburger 2 cans beans 1/2 c. Open Pit barbecue sauce 1/3 c. catsup 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/4 c. water 1/2 lg. onion, diced 1/2 green pepper, diced Bacon strips In a skillet, brown hamburger, diced onion and pepper. Drain. In a large bowl, mix beans, barbecue sauce, catsup, tomato sauce and water. Add hamburger, onions and peppers and mix thoroughly. Pour mixture in a 9x11 inch baking pan and top with bacon strips. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 45 minutes or until bacon on top is done. Best if left to cool about 1/2 hour before serving. |
