1-2 layer size chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
Dash of salt
1 c. chocolate chips

Prepare cake mix according to package directions; fill 30 baking cups 2/3 full. Cream the remaining ingredients together; drop rounded teaspoons of cheese mixture into each cupcake. Bake as package directs. Makes about 30 cupcakes.
