FLUFFY BISCUITS 
3 c. flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk

Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Add egg and milk and mix well. Knead lightly on floured surface. Roll or pat gently to 1 inch thickness. Cut out biscuits. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees 12-15 minutes.
