FRUIT COBBLER 
2 c. sliced peaches, raspberries, cherries, etc..
1 3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
Pinch of salt
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk

Mix fruit with 3/4 c. sugar. Put butter in 8 inch square pan; set in 350 degree oven. Mix batter using 1 c. sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and milk. Pour over melted butter. Do not stir. Put fruit on top. Bake 1 hour or until crust is brown. (Freezes well).

Makes 1 8 x 8 cobbler.
