B.'S COFFEE CAKE 
Old, old Polish recipe. This recipe is not sickly sweet.

1/2 c. or 1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. rhubarb, cut up fine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts, optional

Mix all ingredients together and pour into a greased and floured 9x13 baking dish.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter

Mix with a fork and sprinkle over top of coffee cake before cooking at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
