HOME MADE ROLLS | |
1 c. warm water 1/2 stick butter 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 pkg. rapid rise yeast In large bowl add melted butter, 1 cup warm water, sugar and salt. Stir until sugar and salt are dissolved. Add yeast, stir well. Add 1/2 cup flour and stir well. Add another 1/2 cup flour, mix well. Continue to add small amounts of flour until about 2 1/2 to 3 cups or until forms a smooth ball, not sticky when touched. Grease dough and leave in bowl covered with dish cloth. Let rise about 30 minutes. Push down. Make into rolls, let rise. Bake in preheated oven 350 to 375 degrees until golden brown. Rub butter on top of rolls. |
