GERMAN PANCAKE | |
4 eggs 2/3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 2/3 c. milk 3 tbsp. butter Butter a heavy 10 inch oven-proof skillet. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Beat the eggs with a fork to blend. Slowly add flour, beating constantly. Stir in salt and milk. Pour the batter into the skillet and drop the butter by teaspoonfuls into the batter. Bake at 450 degrees for 15minutes - reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake another 10 minutes. Remove from oven and sift powdered sugar over top. Serve with heated maple syrup. |
