HAM & POTATO SCALLOP 
2 c. ham, cubed & fully cooked
6 to 8 med. potatoes, peeled & thinly sliced (6 c.)
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. milk
3 tbsp. dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp. melted butter

In 2 quart casserole layer half the ham, half the potatoes, half the onion. Sift half the flour over that. Salt and pepper. Repeat layering ham, potatoes and onion. Sift the remaining flour, salt and pepper over. Pour milk over all. Bake COVERED at 350 degrees until potatoes are tender (1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours). Uncover. Combine butter and bread crumbs. Sprinkle on casserole. Bake 15 minutes longer, uncovered.
