1/2 c. butter, soft
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. cream, or milk
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Mix well butter, sugar, and eggs. Stir in cream (or milk) and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Dough should now be chilled. Heat oven to 400 degrees. Bake 6 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. Roll cookies 1/4 inch thick.

This recipe yields 45 medium cut outs, 72 small to medium cut outs.
